Benguet Down To Only 4 COVID19 Active Cases; Baguio To Only 3

La Trinidad, Benguet (July 4, 2020) –  Benguet active COVID19 patients is now down to only 4 from a sudden spike mid June to 27.

Two more emerged victorious over the dreaded virus Friday and were discharged from the isolation facility at Sto Nino Hospital in Baguio City.

The two new recoveries, according to the Benguet public information office, included a 25 year old male from Atok who has a travel history in Cavite and a 38 year old male front liner from La Trinidad.

Benguet Governor Melchor Diclas profusely thanked the health workers and front liners of the  Baguio City COVID-19 Isolation Unit for taking good care of their patients.

Meanwhile, there are three active cases of COVID-19 who are currently admitted at the Benguet General Hospital, a 51-year-old female farmer from Buguias, a 34-year-old male OFW from Tublay who came from from Saudi Arabia, and a 40-year-old male OFW who came from Nigeria but is not reflected in the data of Benguet since he is already reflected in the National Data and classified as Repatriate.

Another patient from Benguet is at Baguio City COVID Isolation Unit, a 29-year-old male frontline worker from La Trinidad.

While Baguio City active cases also slid down to only 3 patients after a 28 year old male and 30 year old female, both without travel history,  getting discharged at the Baguio General Hospital Friday.  Hence, only the 29 year old female, 60 year old male and another 67 year old male, all without any travel history, remain the three active patients in the city.
