BURNING OF ILLEGAL FISHING DEVICES
BFAR-CAR Regional Director and Lagayan Municipal Mayor Edmarc L. Crisologo led the distribution of environment-friendly fishing gear as a replacement for the surrendered prohibited electrofishing devices, recently. This is a continuous program of the bureau in support of the strong implementation of RA 10654 or the act an act to prevent, deter, and eliminate illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing in the region.
