Cagayan Valley Cops Reap Gold In NAC Summit

BAGUIO CITY (October 25, 2020) – Cagayan Valley policemen reaped the feat for good governance.
In a virtual closing ceremony for the 6th NAC Summit 2020 this Friday at the National Headquarters in Camp Crame, Cagayan Valley region policemen were recognized by the PNP National Headquarters for 100% functionality of the Regional Advisory Council (RAC), Technical Working Group (TWG), and Police Strategy Management Unit (PSMU), beamed Cagayan Valley police director Brig. Gen. Crizaldo Nieves.
PNP Chief Camilo Cascolan in honoring the Cagayan Valley policemen underscored the PNP’s objective to attain genuine transformation. “We tried hard to put this organization up and we will not allow any policeman to dirty the PNP.”
Nieves received the award as witnessed virtually by Regional Advisory Council head, Tuguegarao City Mayor Atty. Jefferson Soriano.
Cagayan Valley police regional office was certified as Performance Governance System (PGS) proficient in 2018 and was awarded the much coveted “Gold Eagle Award” during the conferment Friday.
Region 2 policemen garnered an over-all rating of 97.59 percent for satisfactorily completing the mandatory requirements for the third
stage of the PGS, Nieves proudly said.
