COCO in PCNHS

Clean and Orderly Classroom and Offices is named as COCO from the local term fingernails. Nails serve as visual advertisement of a person’s health. Healthy fingernails have the function to enhance precise delicate movements of the distal digits.

Thus, we have the so called nail art which is a type of artwork that can be done. The same is true at PCNHS which is a melting pot of all subjects like science and arts. We can see the creative way of painting, decorating, enhancing, and embellishing the campus.

COCO in PCNHS also needs maintenance and devotion of time because it is an important part of our personality and hygiene. On the other hand, COCO has a word origin which means “grinning face”. Similarly, PCNHS conveys general pleasures and good cheer or humor to each one – employees, students, and stakeholders in general.

The cleanliness of school surroundings makes a difference on how students and employees feel about their learning environment. Clean classrooms, hallways and canteens inspire everyone to pitch in and keep the building in top shape.

That shared sense of school pride results in a vibrant campus that reflects the positive values so important to a successful learning experience. This is how PCNHS adheres to the DepEd Mission: Students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe, and motivating environment. Administrators and staff, as stewards of the institution, ensure an enabling and supportive environment for effective learning to happen.
