Effects of Broken family to Children’s Performance In School

A family is the basic unit in a society. In most societies, the family is the principal institution for the socialization of children. A broken family is the parents who don’t live together as families. They are separated and their children live with one of their parents. Sometimes the children stay with their grandparents if the couple has their own new family.
A broken family is the indifference of two couple, the husband and the wife has their own way of life without each other only their children will left and the one who suffer the most. The problem of having a broken family can have many negative results on the children’s attitude. The following are the effects of broken families to children’s performance in school and in the community.
1. Some Filipino children that have a broken family might be encounter emotional breakdown
2. Some impact of this on the children is they suffer depression that leads them to suicide
3. Some children don’t want to go to school knowing that their parents are separated
4. The behavior of the children can also be the damage if they have a broken family
5. The children can also feel unconfidence because they have unperfect family
6. Filipino children have insecurity knowing that they have separated parents
7. Some of the children feel that are the one to blame why they parents are separated
8. Children also may feel depressed if they have broken family
9. Some children have become irrational and anxiety disorder
In the Philippines, we all know that family is important and one of the pillars of our society.
However, at present, a lot of Filipino family have encounter problems that may cause separation of the parents. It is one of the major problems of the Philippine society that need soo much attention of the government. It affects the social, economic, and political aspect of the country. Not only our society but most important is it affect the child growth.
