The series and sporadic excavation, digging of roads that causes road and traffic problem seems to be the headache of residents in the Municipality of La Trinidad. Addressing this problem of excavation, holes and diggings came about the attention of the weekly Sangguniang Bayan Session, Zoning Administrator and Municipal Planning Development (MPDO) Mr. Emerson Tabernero clearly stated that there is a problem with the Penalty on the Ordinance and so he will surely address the problem immediately by requesting the SB to amend the said Ordinance.

However, Mayor Romeo Salda said that under the Jurisdiction of the Philippines; as a Municipality that only the amount of 2,500 is allowed for person with violation and 6Months imprisonment for violators who have 3offenses of the same Case.

In addition, Coun. Nestor “Bobot” Fongwan said “It is about time to strictly implement the Ordinance and give a sample for people to stop their illegal doings and be discipline”

Kadungngo-dungngo, In some part of Pico, Long-long, Alno and etc… in LTB are prone to Soil Erosion because of nonstop Excavation. Are we to risk now the Lives of our Family? Building what we thought a home can be digging our own grave. What to do now? Sa mga nagpapatayo ng Bahay, Business Establishment at humuhukay ng Sarili nilang Dumping Area; Kung maaari lang ay “Ikabiti yu nga pudpudno, haan nga bara-bara ta baka dakayun ton ti maikali adi!”siguraduhing maganda ang pundasyon. Kung pwede naman ay magtira kayo ng Puno sa paligid nito, Magtanim ng gulay at halaman upang sa tag-ulan ito ang sisipsip sa tubig na dadaloy sa inyong paligid.

Reclamation typically involves a number of activities such as removing any hazardous materials, reshaping the land, restoring topsoil, and planting native grasses, trees, or ground cover.
