EXPECTATION vs. REALITY

Various organizations including Kilusan Para sa Pambansang Demokrasya (KPD), Kaisa Ka – Pagkakaisa ng Kababaihan para sa Kalayaan, Workers for People’s Liberation (WPL), Youth for Nationalism and Democracy (YND), and the Young Women Initiatives (YWI) collaborated for an Information and Education Campaign at Malcolm Square on July 24, 2023 during the second State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. The campaign’s primary goal is to let the public see the reality of the country’s current status in contrast to what the President has promised. The issues involve the Tallano Gold, Maharlika Investment Fund, P20/kg rice proposal, and Anti-Terrorism Law, to name a few.
