GIANT STRAWBERRY CAKE

The ceremonial slicing of “Giant Strawberry Twin Cake” on March 18, 2023 at La Trinidad, Benguet featuring the Snow White Strawberry which is a new variety. Headed by Mayor Romeo Salda, Vice Mayor Roderick Awingan, and Municipal Councilors. The Giant Strawberry Twin Cake has a height of 7ft, Length of 14ft, and a Diameter of 5ft. Strawberry used: 275 Kgs.

The Cake was sliced into 16,000 pieces where in 1,000 slices were given as a complimentary and the rest was sold at a minimal price of P30 per slice. The Bakers are Nonettee Balao of Apple Blossom Bakery; Jayne Ducusin of Badu Cakes and Coffee; Normancita Obar of Menchie’s Bakery; and Adeaine Dormiendo of Ad’ Laine’s Bakery.
