Now, it has transformed into a functional and historic road. I believe it is high time that it be recognized as a cultural heritage zone.”
The proposed measure recommends Kennon Road’s rehabilitation, preservation, conservation and development.
Meanwhile, House Bill No. 5015 provides full scholarship grants to tertiary students enrolled in state universities and colleges as well as those in public technical-vocational institutes. This bill proposes to grant scholarships to students enrolled in private higher educational institutions and private technical-vocational institutes.
The said bill highlights the proposed improvement in the access of students to tertiary education.
“Undeniably, our country has become exporters of excellent and intelligent minds who contribute to the intellectual well-being of our nation. We should invest in our students. Let us give them the best education that they deserve,” Go said. “We should always bear in mind that everything we do and whatever we invest in education shall redound to the development of our country.” ABN
