Grandfather raped minor granddaughter

Baguio City – in a blotter report from Station 8, a case of rape transpired on October 18, 2019 at about 1:00 PM at Loakan-Liwanag, Baguio City against her grandfather, 64, married, and a resident of Loakan-Liwanag, Baguio City.
The victim was a female minor (name withheld) with possible mental delay needing further evaluation and management by developmental Pediatrician and Psychological evaluation by Psychologist, 15 years old, and a resident of Loakan Liwanag, Baguio City assisted by her mother against her grandfather.
Investigation conducted revealed that the victim was sexually abused by her Grandfather. Accordingly, the victim admitted to her mother that his grandfather sexually molested her while she was taking a bath. The mother then decided to bring her daughter to the doctor and found out that the victim was already 22 weeks pregnant as shown on her medico legal certificate.
During the inquiry, the victim said that her grandfather repeatedly raped her when her parents were not at home. Case was filed thru regular filling in the prosecutor ’s office under Docket No. 19-2045.
