Ifugao Capital, Lagawe – Logs First Covid19 Death

BAGUIO CITY (April 6, 2021) — The municipal government of Lagawe, the capital of the province of Ifugao, recorded its first Covid19-related death Tuesday (April 6, 2021).
The fatality is a 34-year old female from Poblacion North of the capial town, the Lagawe local government unit said, adding, she was swabbed for testing on March 24, 2021.
On March 29, 2021, the result of her test showed she was positive of the dreaded virus and was brought to an isolation facility in that same evening. She had mild symptoms that time.
But with her symptoms progressing, she was brought to the Panopdopan District Hospital in Lamut, Ifugao for admission on March 31, 2021.
As of 11:00 PM of April 5, 2021, Lagawe logged in eight new cases. There are a total of 122 cases in the municipality, where 60 recovered and 62 active cases.
Ifugao as of 11:00 PM of April 5, 2021 has a total 922 cases, of which 591 recovered and at present 330 active cases.
Including the first death in Lagawe, Ifugao has two deaths from Covid19.
