LA UNION BHW RECOGNIZED

The Provincial Government of La Union celebrated the exceptional dedication and service of its Barangay Health Worker (BHWs) at the BHW Health Summit led by Gov. Rafy Ortega-David, Ten outstanding BHWs were recognized for their unwavering commitment and competence, each receiving a certificate, plaque, and a cash prize of P10,000. The event which featured informative
lectures and discussions on healthcare, highlighted the essential role played by these local heroes in ensuring health equity, community profiling, health advocacy, and community-based interventions.
