Looking for a food destination that offers a unique and unforgettable experience? Look no further than Halo Halo De Iloco, a humble establishment that has gained a cult following in the heart of San Fernando, La Union. Founded in 2004, Halo Halo De Iloco has grown from a small home-based business to a thriving restaurant that is known for its delicious Buko Halo Halo, Okoy, and native cheeseburgers. What makes the restaurant stand out is its commitment to using fresh,
locally-sourced ingredients and traditional cooking methods that have been passed down through generations.

The restaurant’s name is derived from the Museo De Iloco in Agoo, where the owners have drawn inspiration for the restaurant’s design and decor. Walking into Halo Halo De Iloco is like stepping back in time, with antique trinkets and native utensils adorning the walls, creating a warm and
inviting ambiance that is perfect for a casual dining experience. One of the restaurant’s signature dishes is the Buko Halo Halo, which is made with fresh coconut and a combination of other sweet
treats. The mix of textures and flavors is what makes this dessert a must-try, and it’s no
wonder why it’s the restaurant’s best-seller.

Another favorite among customers is the Okoy, a fried delicacy that is a fusion of various vegetables and seeds, making it a healthier option compared to other fried snacks. Halo Halo De Iloco’s loyal
following is a testament to the quality of food and service they offer. And now, with its upcoming move to CSI Mall Biday, more customers will be able to enjoy their delicious offerings. The move is
expected to attract even more tourists and locals, especially with the summer season in full swing.
When asked about the restaurant’s expansion plans, Halo Halo De Iloco’s supervisor, Denver Asusena Banquete, shared, “Isa lang ang branch neto sa ngayon ngunit lilipat eto sa CSI MALL
BIDAY upang mas lumawak eto at mas marami pang mapagsilbihan.

Marami na ang pumupunta rito at lagi may nakapila sa labas bago makapasok at inaasahang
dadagsa pa eto ngayong summer season.” According to Denver, the restaurant’s name was inspired by the Museo De Iloco in Agoo, and its design features various antique items and native utensils, reflecting the owners’ love for traditional Ilocano culture. When asked about the restaurant’s best-seller, Denver shared, “Inooffer ng Halo Halo De Iloco ang kanilang best na Buko Halo Halo, Okoy, na gawa sa flour, malungay, kalabasa, kamote, at sesame seed at meron ring emparedados na native cheeseburger.”

Whether you’re a foodie looking to try something new or a traveler in search of an authentic Ilocano experience, Halo Halo De Iloco is definitely worth a visit. With its charming ambiance and mouth-watering dishes, it’s no wonder why it’s become a staple in the local food scene. So come on down to Halo Halo De Iloco and take a bite out of Iloc.
