Male Nurse Is Baguio’s Newest COVID19 Case

BAGUIO CITY (May 17, 2020) –  After  all 9 of COVID19-affected health workers were discharged from hospital confinement last week,  yet another male nurse emerged as Baguio’s newest case Sunday morning.
Raising cases to a total number of 32 already, the male Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center nurse, is from Maria Pucay, Pinsao Proper barangay here.  He is 32 years old.
Immediately, contact tracing, quarantine and disinfection protocols have been instituted including possibly placing the area where the latest case on lockdown.
This after cases in the city slipped to only one on Saturday — a 41 year old police officer that came home from the National Capital Region.
So far, there is only one COVID19-related death in the city — the 55 year old female government employee.
