P680K CRYSTAL METH SEIZED FROM PANGASINAN DRUG TRAFFICKER

PDEA agents aided by local policemen seized six hundred eighty thousand pesos (P680,000.00) worth of shabu dawn Thursday after they
raided the house of a notorious drug trafficker in Bonuan Boquig in Dagupan City in Pangasinan. PDEA Ilocos region director Joel B. Plaza said “Elton”, 34, kept in house home 60 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 100 grams valued at P680,000.00, two pouches, and a box containing foil strips and transparent plastic sachet with suspected shabu residues. Plaza said “Elton” is a “Regional Target Drug Personality” and had long been tailed by anti-narcotics
operatives for his ilicit drug trading activities.
While, PDEA operatives aided by policemen caught a “resurgent drug personality” and seized live ammunition and a bladed weapon in Batac City, Ilocos Norte. Plaza said “alias Amos”, 61, also from Batac City was caught in a sting operation at around 9:11 AM Thursday, April 3, 2025 with 13 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing more or less two grams worth P13,600.00, three pieces of cal. 45 live ammunition, a knife and a pouch. “Amos”, who was earlier caught in February 2013, had been named in a report over at “Bitag” program of Ben Tulfo supposedly with a similar offense. He will also be facing illegal drug charges and gun ban violations.
