Pinakamalaking tipak sa 2019 budget ng Baguio, inilaan sa GSO

Ang General Services Office sa lungsod ang may pinakamalaking bahagi sa pondo na P315.8 milyon mula sa mungkahing P2.175 bilyon na 2019 annual budget ng pamahalaang lungsod.
Pumangalawa ang non-office allocations sa P290.3 milyon na sinusundan ng 20 percent local development fund ng lungsod na nagkakahalaga ng P179.4 milyon at ang City Engineer’s Office na pinaglaanan ng P174.7 milyon.
Ang City Health Services Office ay may P166.3 milyon budget habang ang Sangguniang Panlungsod o City Council ay may proposed budget na P117.2 milyon.
Mahigit P98.1 milyon ang inaasahang pupunta sa City Environment and Parks Management Office (CEPMO) at ang 6 porsyentong City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund ay paglalaanan ng P91.6 milyon.

Sinimulan ng konseho ng lungsod ang pagtalakay sa mungkahing annual budget noong Lunes, Nobyembre 5, at magpapatuloy pa ang committee at plenary deliberations sa November 12 at 19 bago maaprubahan ang budget sa pagtatapos ng kasalukuyang taon upang maiwasan ng lungsod ang re-enacted budget sa 2019.
