Project ‘Adal’ inilunsad ng PROCOR-RFSO 15

LA TRINIDAD,Benguet — Habang dinadaranas ang pandemya ng COVID-19, inilunsad ng Regional Finance Service Office-15 (RFSO-15) ng Police Regional Office- Cordillera ang Project ‘Adal’ sa pamamagitan ng pakikipag-ugnayan sa Benguet Schools District Office (SDO),para matugunan ang pangangailangan ng mga kabataan na gustong mag-aral.
Ang salitang “Adal” ay Ilocano term ng ‘Edukasyon’ at ang proyekto ay kinilala bilang “Edukasyong hatid ng RFSO 15 sa gitna ng pandemya”, na ang layunin ay maihatid sa mga kabataan ang kanilang pangarap sa pamamagitan ng edukasyon.
Ayon kay RFSO-15 OIC Police LtCol Ana Liza Macapinlac, sa tulong ng SDO Benguet ay pipili sila ng 15 financially incapacitated yet deserving grade school pupils mula sa mga munisipalidad ng Benguet.
Sa pamamagitan ng nilagdaang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) noong Abril 12 sa Benguet Adivay Hall, ipinagkaloob ng RFSO ang 15 brand new tablets with pocket wifis, 32 GB USBs, and internet connection subscription for the duration of school year sa SDO-Benguet na siyang mamahala sa mga kagamitan.
Ayon kay Macapinlac, ang 15-learning equipment bundle ay ibabahagi sa 13 municipalities ng Benguet na may isang beneficiary bawat-isa, maliban sa bayan ng La Trinidad na may dalawang beneficiaries.
“Due to the changes under the new normal many took advantage of using technology in the deliverance of service and one of it is the online classes, the reason why the PNP through the office of the RFSO-15 reached out to the most affected group, the learners from the financially challenged families who struggle to keep up with the new normal. Not requiring much from the learners, the RFSO expects that the pupils must pass all the subjects with no failing grades, regardless of the numerical grades,” pahayag ni Macapinlac.
