STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL 2023

The local government unit of La Trinidad, Benguet launched the celebration of the Strawberry Festival 2023 thru a Kapihan, Tuesday February 14, 2023. Anchored with the theme, “A Festival for Recovery: Building a Brighter Future from Adversities”, the festival is expected to draw more locals and tourists after three years of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Mayor Romeo Salda said that among the most awaited activity is the presentation of the Twin Strawberry Cake on March 18.

He said that one will be made up of red strawberries while its twin will be made up of white strawberries. This cake will be 7 feet in height, 14 feet in length, and 5 feet in diameter. Other activities are Strawberry Fest Pet Show, Strawberry Run and Variety Show on March 12; Strawberry Motocross and Downhill Challenge on March 20; Cordillera Ullalim Chorale Concert on March 26, among others.
