Delegates from Abra, Apayao, Baguio City, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, and Mt. Province clad with their respective native costumes on Friday (July 15) march down the historic Session Road to the beat of cultural sounds, marking the 35th Cordillera founding anniversary with its theme “One Autonomous Cordillera: Ensuring Social Development and Inclusive Growth in the New Normal.”
Representatives from different local government units and national government line agencies also joined the parade.
To date, the quest for genuine autonomy is still elusive.
