Who is my barangay official?

You might have a hard time choosing who to vote for Barangay Captain and Barangay Kagawad on your respective barangays just because some of them are your close friend or some of them are relatives or even immediate family. But guess what iKit, we will give you a simple tip to choose easily. Spell LEADER.
L= ask yourself, do you believe he or she will be a good Leader? Does he or she (politician) have that kind of aura on him or her?
E= ask someone, and ask this question. Do you believe he/she has the Excellency to run as a Barangay Captain or Barangay Kagawad?
A= ask your immediate family, start a negotiation with them. Do you believe he/she (politician) is Approachable in the future when we ask for help?
D= ask your friends, make it a topic among your group of friends. Do you believe he/she (politician) is “Down to earth”?
E= ask your neighbour, just being a concerned citizen, is this person running for Barangay Captain or Kagawad could be an Encouragement to his/her constituent because he/she is showing a good example?
R= and ask yourself, do you believe that this person running for a position in your barangay will be Resourceful that he/she may push through with the projects and the needs of his/her people?
In Benguet Province, the special meeting of Peace and Order Council was held last April 30, 2018 (Monday) at Ben Palispis Hall, Capitol Bldg., La Trinidad, Benguet for the safety preparation of Barangay and SK Election. Provincial Election Supervisor Julia Capuyan Tabangen of Benguet Comelec said that the province is all set and ready for the upcoming election.
Benguet Gov. Crescencio Pacalso also added that this meeting is not only to address the safety measure but also to discourse the need to identify areas in need more police personnel, in which the Armed Forces of the Philippines is very much willing to lend a hand.
This barangay election is not just about choosing who your candidate is but how safe our election is, even if we say that during the previous years we do not encounter such chaotic election but still we do not know. Moreover, choose a leader who has a heart to be a public servant to all and not a man-pleaser who wanted only to serve a certain sector of his/her community. Look in the eyes and not on the pocket iKit, for in the Bible (KJV) Ephesians 6:6 “Not with eye service, as men-pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.” This is yours truly, Tita Ara Katter of 98.7 ZRadio FM, Sunday Program, 10am to 1pm, always reminding you that “Ti panagkaykaysa, mangiwanwan iti naranyag nga pagsayaatan.”
