Blessed Filipinos

“Igorotak”,Ilocanoak etc. localized and proud ways of expressing Filipino identity. “Buwan ng Wika” was celebrated by different schools in creative ways which were enjoyed by the pupils. Diverse Filipino talents and cultures were showcased in the said celebration. Despite of bad weather that leads to the suspension of classes, culminating programs were successfully conducted.
Philippines is blessed with multi-skilled people, fertile land, timing water resources and others. Beautiful scenes attracts tourist to visit our country, they maybe man made or naturally created which every Filipinos has the responsibility to protect and sustain these beauties so future generation will enjoy.
There are programs and activities being done initiated by the Department of Environment and Natural resources that is both beneficial to nature and Human. The eco savers environment where the said agency donate 25 thousand especially schools along been Bued River as a said capital for waste management. The said money will be used to buy recyclable materials from pupils or communities to lessened waste from the source (buy and sell procedure). By this process, children will be encouraged to gather said garbage from their houses/along their way and sell it to their schools.
Those schools given with the 25 thousand is expected to sustain the program. Philippines is also full of various languages. Language researcher Earvin Pelagio; Philippines has 120 to 187 languages and dialects but despite of these Filipinos can communicate and have common understanding. The declaration of former commonwealth president Manuel Molina Luis Quezon in using Tagalog as the national language facilitated accessible understanding among Filipinos.
There was a change that took place in naming our national language. In 1987, new constitution designated Filipino as the national language alongside with English as an official language. Important information about our language is the creation of another law on October 30, 2018. President Rodrigo Duterte signed into law, Republic Act 11106, declaring Filipino Sign Language or FSL to be the Island official sign to communicate with the Filipino deaf.
There are citizens who are physically challenged that needs to communicate through FSL. Filipino has a lot of values. One of the striking positive of Filipinos is the remedy attitude.
According to Kare S. Mano; Filipino trait of being creative and resourceful. The ability to do things that are next to impossible. There are innovations and inventions done by young Filipinos that facilitate comforts. To mention them are; Angelo Casimiro’s most famous invention of an energy generating shoes wherein the more you run the more gadgets you can charge. Aisa Mijeno made the sustainable alternative light source that runs on saltwater, making it sustainable to those who live in coastal areas.
This invention will be more helpful if properly funded and assisted. Talents and skills of Filipinos are viral in the internet which put our country in the limelight. More so when abilities are hone in their younger level in education. Sustaining the good values and caring our environment count most in contributing to nation building.
