Lourdes Proper residents conduct cleaning along the street of the barangay as part of the cleanliness
program of Baguio City Mayor Benjie Magalong. Lourdes Proper barangay is one of the tourist destinations
in the city. Said clean-up activity was made possible through the through the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa
Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program of the Department of Labor and Employment
(DOLE).

TUPAD is a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for
displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days, but not to
exceed a maximum of 30 days, depending on the nature of work to be performed.
