DALAWANG SUSPEK TIMBOG SA PAMEMEKE NG TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

BAGUIO CITY – Dalawang suspek na namemeke ng Travel Authority at Medical Certificate ang natimbog sa isinagawang entrapment operation ng mga tauhan ng Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) at Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit (RACU) sa isang computer shop sa siyudad na ito, Kinilala ni BCPO Director Col.Allen Rae Co, ang nadakip na sina Ace Codli Dicca at Wilfred Lohan Pinyuhan.
Ayon kay Co, nakatanggap sila ng impormasyon mula sa concerned citizen kaugnay sa pamemeke ng mga suspek, na pinapabayaran ng P150 bawat isa, kapalit ang pinekeng health declaration, travel authority at medical certificate.
Aniya, nagpanggap ang isang undercover police officer na kliyente at nagawang makakuha ng kopya ng Travel Documents na may pekeng signature ng City Director at ng Medical Health Officer. “With the implementation of various community quarantine, Medical Certificate and Travel Authority are needed if the travel requires crossing the border going to another province or another region,” pahayag ni Co.
Napag-alaman na umaabot na sa 54 individuals ang nahuli sa mga Quarantine Check Points (QCP) na may mga pekeng travel documents at 15 dito ang sinampahan ng kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 11332, the Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Pubic Health Concern when they tried to enter the Summer Capital with fake travel documents.
