MISSING CESSNA PLANE IN ISABELA FOUND

ISABELA, Cagayan Valley

The Cessna plane with 6 passengers including the pilot was already located Friday morning at barangay Dicaruyan, Divilacan town, some 10 kilometers from the cellsite of Maconacon, Isabela, the Cagayan Provincial Police Office said. The Cessna plane with tail number RPC 1174 bound for
Maconacon, Isabela that took off from the Cauayan airport, also in Isabela 2:15 Tuesday afternoon was last contacted four minutes after take off and was in Naguillan, Isabela.

The pilot was identified as Capt. Eleazar Mark Joven and passengers: Tom Josthle Manday, Val C. Kamatoy, Mark Eiron K. Siguerra, Xam K. Siguerra, and Josefa Perla Espana. The Incident Management Team led by its commander Atty. Constante Foronda was able to determine the possible location of the missing Cessna plane or “Site Alpha” after a farmer informed the search and rescue team of the airplane that was “in distress”. The farmer reportedly said that he saw the
airplane negotiating the skies of the Pacific Ocean until it turned towards the mountains of the
Sierra Madre. Foronda however said search and rescue teams are having a hard time to reach “Site
Alpha” because of the inclement weather.
