“During my term, I will also work on the critical areas in PROCOR especially in Abra which is traditionally identified as election hotspot,” Dickson said.

“I ask everyone to help me in removing the stigma and transform the label of Abra into a peaceful and safe province especially during the conduct of elections,” Dickson added.

Dickson directed his men in PROCOR to abide by their duties and abide by the rules and policies as deputized agency of the Commission on Election (COMELEC).

“We cannot let our guard down at any time and we must remain on our toes during the election period.”

Dickson also scored the country’s fight against illegal drugs. “We will continue this campaign firmly and relentlessly,” Dickson said, adding that his command will revisit its anti-drugs program.

He also said his leadership will enhance managing police operations strategy and intensify efforts against focus crimes: murder, rape, homicide, theft robbery, among others; insurgency and lawlessness.

Dickson hails from San Juan, Abra and vowed to put premium in fight against police scalawags.

“Discipline must prevail in all levels, and let me remind commanders of their transparency and accountability in carrying out their responsibilities towards a safer community,” he said.

“I want the community to be a significant player in our peace and order efforts. We must harness the stronger support of all stakeholders and further enhance police community relations,” he
added.

“Let us always bear in mind that we can never be fully effective without the sincere support and cooperation of the members of the community,” Dickson pointed out.

For his part, outgoing PRO-COR head Rolando Nana expressed his gratitude to the men and women of the command for their support.
