Mayor Benjie Magalong brainstorm with barangay heads on how to improve the system of implementing the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) in the barangays.

They discussed ways to address complaints on the alleged unfair system of identifying beneficiaries and to speed up the procedures on the selection and screening of the beneficiaries until the releasing of the funds.

With the mayor were Association of Barangay Councils President Coun. Michael Lawana, City Social Welfare and Development Officer Betty Fangasan and Dept. of Interior and Local Government City Director Evelyn Trinidad.
