SPOTTED AT THE FDCP HEADQUARTERS: NATIONAL ARTIST FOR FILM KIDLAT TAHIMIK

National Artist For Film Kidlat Tahimik visited the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) office on July 27, and coincidentally met the new Chairperson & CEO Tirso Cruz III and former chief Mary Liza Diño, while doing preparations for his upcoming homecoming historical exhibition titled “Magellan, Marilyn, Mickey, and Padre Damaso: 500 Years of Conquistador Rock Stars” at the National Museum of Anthropology in Manila after his successful show in Spain in October 2021 and March 2022.
Several installations depicting the cultural struggles and aspirations of the Filipino people over the last 500 years featuring larger-than-life sculptures, all showcasing Filipino craftsmanship, are in the Agency’s main office temporarily for the ongoing installation activities at the nearby National Museum of Anthropology.
