The 17th year of EMA Cup Golf, a one-day fun tournament of former congressman now Baguio Councilor Edgar M. Avila successfully teed off on July 7,2018 at the serene and friendly John Hay Golf Club.

Jen Herbolario,  incoming president of the beneficiary Rotary Club of Downtown Session assured the golfers and sponsors that the activity would augment the funding of their medical missions, feeding programs, the scholarship program –  ,  and other worthy projects which her board will decide on. Likewise, the proceeds will also fund the maintenance and upkeep of the Emergency Medical Assistance Ambu-Transport, which has been made available for transporting patients to and from a hospital and the acquisition of wheelchairs and medicines.
The St. Teresa De Avila Foundation, two scholarship grants (Tuition Fee only) are available for poor but deserving students who desire to rake up education in either SLU, UB or UC.
