BRGY. NUTRITION INTEGRATED PLANNING AND EVALUATION
The Local Government Unit of Loakan Proper Baguio City in collaboration with Loakan Elementary School and Loakan Health Center has conducted a 2-Day Barangay Integrated Planning and Evaluation on Barangay Nutrition Action Plan (BNAP) and Barangay Health Action Plan (BNAP) to 25 Barangay Council, volunteers and guest from Education, Health and Sanitation units of the Loakan Community.
The activity was held at Pooten Hall at Asin Road Baguio City on December 6-7, 2021. The said live in planning endeavor was facilitated by Loakan LGU, which focused on planning on significant plans, presentation of accomplishments and deliberations on improvements and adjustments in health, nutrition and sanitation giving considerations into the broader policies of actions and development, it also aimed to plan actions and interventions to implement this coming year with a variety of appropriate strategies targeting vulnerable groups in the barangay.
The activity aimed not only to bring the LGU and other sectors of the society closer to the people but to have also a clear manifestation of our
collaborative efforts to help our constituents in reducing factors including poverty, deliver nutrition intervention and offer first aid, maternal and child health care, communicable diseases and other basic health services to all the constituents of the barangay.
The planning ended with approval of the Action Plans and giving of certificates to the attendees. It was attended by guests like: Helen Acop of Loakan Elementary representing the Education sector, Myrna Hulanio, District Nutrition Coordinator, Lorna Dilag of Loakan District Health Center.
