Mga piling probinsiya sa NLuzon babahagian sa benta ng kuryente

LUNGSOD NG BAGUIO – Apat na probinsiya sa Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) at Cagayan Valley ang magsisimulang direktang tatanggap ng kanilang bahagi sa benta ng elektrisidad ng SN Aboitiz Power (SNAP), na sa pinakahuling komputayson ay umaabot sa PhP10.5 milyon, ayon sa isang opisyal.

Sinabi ni SNAP vice president at chief corporate affairs officer Mike Hosillos na ang PhP10.5 milyon na ibabahagi sa mga probinsiya at mga rehiyon ay katapat ng isang sentimo bawat kilowatthour (PhP0.01/kWh) electricity sales.

Ang komputasyon ay base sa Energy Regulation No. 1-94 mula sa total attributable energy sales ng kanilang Ambuklao, Binga, Magat, and Maris hydro facility.

Sinabi ni Hosillos na ang distribusyon ay PhP4 milyon para sa probinsiya ng Benguet; PhP2.3 milyon sa Ifugao; PhP1.8 milyon sa Isabela; PhP1.4 milyon para sa Nueva Vizcaya; at PhP1 milyon para sa rehiyon, indigenous cultural
communities at indigenous people’s organizations.

Base sa energy regulation na nakalathala sa website ng Department of Energy (DOE), ang halaga ay maaaring gamitin sa mga proyektong may benepisyo ang komunidad na nahahati sa: 50 porsiyento ang gagamitin sa elektrisidad ng ng komunidad; 25 porsiyento para sa Development and Livelihood Fund (DFL); at ang 25 porsiyento para sa reforestation, watershed management, health and or environment enhancement.

“The amount which will be distributed next month is based on electricity sales from December 2017,” ani Hosillos.

Sinabi niya na ang pamamahagi ay magsisimulang gawin sa isang quarterly basis matapos ang kamakailang paglagda sa isang memorandum of agreement sa local government unit para sa implementasyon ng 2018 circular ng DOE.

Ang paglagda ay senyales ng umpisa ng isang pinadaling proseso ng paglabas ng benepisyong pinasiyal mula sa mga power generator ng mga lokal na gobyerno, ani Hosillos.

Ang bahagi ng LGU mula sa benta ng elektrisidad ay dating nire-remit muna sa national treasury na umaabot ng mga taon bago ma-release.

Sa pamamagitan ng DOE Department Circular 2018-08-0021 ay maaari nang direktang ibigay ng mga power generation company ang ER 1-94 fund sa kanilang host community na pinadali ang release ng pondo, na maiibsan ang proseso ng pagpapatupad ng mga mahahalagang proyekto sa benepisyo ng mga host community.
