Protecting Mt. Sto. Tomas Forest Reserve
Officials from Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO)-Benguet led by Dr. Carlos Arida Sr. with Tuba Mayor Ignacio Rivera, CENRO Rainier Balbuena, Poblacion Punong Barangay Oliver Paus and other officials from DENR-CAR, EMB-CAR, WWRRC, Baguio Water District, Kabuyao Elementary School and other volunteers joined the signing of Memorandum of Understanding for the intensified protection and preservation of Mt. Sto. Tomas Forest Reserve (MSTFR) which still under Permanent Environmental Protection Order (PEPO) status by the Court of Appeals. Follow up cleaning activities within the area are ongoing.
