Region 1 Police Celebrates 122nd Independence Day

CAMP BGEN OSCAR M FLORENDO- Police Brigadier General Rodolfo S Azurin Jr., Regional Director of Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1) spearheaded the 122nd Independence Day Celebration with the theme: “Kalayaan 2020: Tungo sa Bansang Malaya, Nagbabayanihan at Ligtas” held at the PRO1 Grandstand earlier this morning (June 12).
The four provinces virtually joined the said commemoration as the Regional Director read the message of the Chief, Philippine National Police, Police General Archie Francisco F Gamboa.
In his message, the Chief, PNP stressed that patriotism is indeed manifested in every frontliner who wholeheartedly dedicated themselves in our fight against COVID-19. The PNP remains visible in the community wherein every member of the organization is involved.
“Ang kagitingan at kadakilaan na ating ipinapakita sa araw-araw nating paglilingkod sa taumbayan na nagdadala ng karangalan sa ating ahensya, ay hindi kailanman matutumbasan ng anumang materyal na bagay.
Ang pagtitiwala at pagpapasalamat sa kanilang pambansang kapulisan ang ating pinaka malaking tagumpay.” PGen Gamboa added.
He further exhorted all PNP frontliners to continue serving the country with nobility and enthusiasm and work together in the attainment of progressive Philippines.
Meanwhile, the ‘Pilipinas Kong Mahal’ was solemnly sung to remember the Independence Day of our country.
