Despite the inclement weather brought about by Typhoon Falcon it did not dampen the day as kids join in the “ginoyudan” tag-of-war events with gusto along Hapao River. This as the LGU proposed the institutionalization of the “Punnuk” as an annual festival for the Municipality of Hungduan in the barangays of Hapao, Baang and Nangonungan. “Punnuk” is a thanksgiving and cleansing Festival after a bountiful harvest BFP, PNP, LGU, locals and volunteers were on hand to secure the games which went smoothly amidst strong river currents.
