Baguio drug den raid nets 2 mantainers, four customers

BAGUIO CITY (June 25, 2022)— A nightfall raid Friday by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency agents and local policemen at a lodge along Magsaysay Avenue here netted two drug den maintainers and four of their customers.
More or less 20.4 grams of dried marijuana leaves, 3 ml of liquid shabu, and paraphernalia used in sniffing drugs were also found, PDEA Cordillera director Gil Castro said, as he named those facing multiple illegal drug charges as Massage therapist Juvylyn Reca Plaza, 36, who lives just a stone throw away from the drug den; another massage therapist Mia Jane Noquilla Postre,29, from Green Valley barangay here; butcher Joseph Castano, 48, who also lives just a stone thrown-away from the drug den; massage therapist Paterson Anciano Domaino,23, also from Green Valley barangay; gay beautician Ismael Galman Dipatuan,36, from Sablan, Benguet; and Rodel Sachez Buhay, 23, from Balsigan, Baguio City
Castro said the raid came after agents launched a sting operation at around 7:15 PM Friday confirming the trading of the illegal drugs and even led them into the drug den.
Castro, who did not name who among those caught were the drug den maintainers and drug den customers, vouched a Barangay kagawad, a DOJ representative and a local journalist were present to witness the sting operation.
