Parayaw Etag Making

Elders of barangay Central in Kapangan, Benguet demonstrates the traditional making of “kini-ing” or preserving pork meat through salt and smoking during the Parayaw or the documentation of oral traditions and practices in Kapangan, Benguet at the Governor Bado Dangwa Agro-Industrial School last week.

The Parayaw is a project funded by the National Commission on Culture and the Arts with the GBDAIS as the lead implementer in cooperation with the local government units of Benguet and Kapangan, the National Commission on Indigenous People and the Department of Education –
