10 women leaders, pinarangalan ng SM

LUNGSOD NG BAGUIO – Nagbigay ng parangal ang SM City Baguio sa 10 honorees ng Most Outstanding Women Leaders ng lungsod na ibinatay sa tema ngayong taon na “We make change work for women”  na ginanap sa Event Center noong Marso 30, 2017.
Ayon kay Rona Vida Correa, mall manager, sa kanyang speech, “We believe that the event such as what we are having tonight would strengthen our partnership with everyone particularly the women of our community, and families as well.”
Dagdag pa niya, “We aim to inform and engage all women of the community as stakeholders as our programs and services to promote citizen-centric living; also, we create and facilitate a platform to showcase good practices, gaps, challenges and commitments in pursuing gender and development. And we aim to inspire and empower women and girls to be agents of change, as we all contribute promoting gender equality and empowerment of all women.”
Ang mga honorees ngayong taon sa Most Outstanding Women Leaders ay sina April Rose Wandag Ayangwa, Maria Victoria Abubo Bugasto, Mary Lou Balagot Galiste, Erlinda Lavandia, Charmaine Irish Torno Suyo, Ingrid Mastinggal Payaket, Roxanne Joy Agsaoay Omilda, Sheevani Brylle Taclawan Sibayan, Christine Joy Fabros Picardal at Divine Masadao Wally.
Ang pagbibigay ng token sa mga honorees ay simbolo ng pagsuporta sa kababaihan at pagkilala sa kanilang ambag sa institusyon na bumubuo o nagdudulot ng pagbabago at ikakaunlad ng mga kababaihan. Rica Gil, UB Intern
