Baguio City celebrated the Philippines – Japan Friendship Day on July 23, 2023, at the Baguio Museum. The opening of the 11th Tanabata Festival and Kanazawa UNESCO Creative City Exhibit also took place the Baguio Museum which was formally opened by Councilor Betty Lourdes Tabanda representing the city government of Baguio together with Japanese Association in North Luzon President Takashi Kato, DOT-CAR Director Jovie Ganongan, City Tourism Officer Alec Mapalo, Baguio Museum President Peter Ng and Board of Trustee Ryan Dale Mangusan and Executive Director Stella de Guia.
