Bounty tobacco

A farmer from Tagudin, Ilocos Sur inspect his tobacco plantations ready for harvesting this week and hoping that this year tobacco prices will increase to P100 per kilo in order for them to cope up with their expenses in tobacco farming. The farmers in Ilocos Sur and Abra are asking the National Tobacco Administration for the increase of tobacco up to P100 per kilo. For the past 10 years, tobacco prices varies from P80 to P90 per kilo.
