CENRO tree planting
The Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Baguio personnel led by OIC Rainier Balbuena plant 300 Benguet Pine seedlings during the celebration of Environment Month last June 20 at Sitio Otbong, Bobok, Bokod Benguet. Said activity aims to cover denuded or uncovered forestland. In the future, planted seedlings will protect the environment against landslide and erosion as well as will benefit the communities by reducing urban heat and improving air quality by filtering harmful dust and pollutants.
