COC – Certificate of Characteristics
As Commission on Election have said that the filing of Certificate of Candidacy starts this Oct. 1 to 8, 2021 it is well informed to the Public that Election Campaign for National will start on Feb. 2022, while in Local will start on March of the same year.
But everybody knows that Election Campaign has long started before the said filing, which we can not deny. Well as long as there is no use of that word VOTE everyone’s safe anyway right?
Now moving on, Certificate of Characteristics. Roaming around asking people “Anong Tipo ng Opisyal ang gusto ninyong mamuno as ating
Bansa/Lugar? 1. Pusong Serbisyo Publiko. Serving the needs of the People above the needs of oneself. Asking and Informing the Public and not demanding them to agree on self-interest. 2. Madaling Lapitan. Not to ask for help in terms of Money but to be Invited on a certain Occasion or Interview. Can ask for an Advise especially when he/she is an Attorney or the concern is under his/her Committee. 3. Talino at Sipag. Understanding the needs and issues of per sector in the community is a must.
It is hard work that needs help to reach the goal of everyone. 4. Experience or Expert. The public still prefers a Politically experienced candidate, knows the laws of the land. Well on that some do not lawfully incline and that is why legal advisors are just around. 5. Suporta ng Pamilya. How can you built a Nation when you can not build your own? this goes to local as well.
This is the Key. A Family oriented person especially with Filipino Culture that we have is a very important characteristic a Candidate should have. Not long ago, I went to visit a Friend. He use to be a former General and we were the Media who usually reports updated news on his activities, programs and achievements before.
When he turns to be the Director of a Government Agency we were still there for him. However, we might not be able to support him during his campaign in 2019 well I hope this official knows that we are to be in the middle still.
And it is a shock and it is true, Well I must say I’m a little bit disappointed too that ” Ang pagka-bagsak minsan ng isang Kandidato ay hindi dahil sa ugali nito. Kundi dahil sa Pakikitungo at Pananalita ng mga Taong nakapalibot dito” that when you act this way surely people think the Boss has the same Ugali. I hope you remember.
