Dead newborn found outside Baguio hospital

BAGUIO CITY (November 20, 2021)— Investigators here are looking into all possibilities to identify the parents of a lifeless newborn found Friday outside a hospital here.

Policemen at station 5 said someone called informing them of a dead newborn found in a flower pot in front of the exit area of the private-run Baguio Medical Center (BMC) in Barangay Military Cut Off, Baguio City.

The police said the baby was wrapped with a blue towel.

The newborn was stuffed inside an ice cream container and was put in a paper bag.

The baby was brought to the Baguio Memorial Chapel in Naguilian Road, here.

The police is appealing for help in identifying the parents or who are the people responsible for the irresponsible dumping of the baby.
