Secretary Saidamen Balt Pangarungan, of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos appreciate the hospitality of Baguio Mayor Benjamin Magalong and Baguio Solon Mark Go during the forum on Preventive and Countering Violent Extremism held in Eurotel on May 24, 2021 which attended by Baguio City Police Office, the Baguio Muslim Association sponsored by the Northern Luzon National Commission on Muslim Filipinos led by Lawyer Sarah Macarimpas, his father Director Abelardo Macarimpas.
Pangarungan advise all the more than 10,00 Muslim in Baguio City to make good on their life and livelihood as they claimed that Baguio City is their second home .
Also he said that they should cooperate with the local governments and the government authorities against threat on peace and order in the city.
Part of Pangarungan activities is the distribution of relief goods to all muslim community in Baguio City.
