Kalinga general takes helm of Cagayan Valley police

BAGUIO CITY (July 19, 2021) — Brigadier General Steve Bentican Ludan, the first police general from hinterland Lubo in Tanudan, Kalinga,  took the helm of the Cagayan Valley region police Monday morning.
Ludan,  a member of PMA “Tanglaw-Diwa” class of 1992, formally assumed post as Regional Director of the Cagayan Valley police during turn-over rites and retirement honors for outgoing Cagayan Valley police director Brigadier General Crizaldo Obispo Nieves, a member of PMA Class of 1988, retiring today at mandatory age of 56.
Ludan was previously the Director of PNP Crime Laboratory.
BGen Nieves thanked the PNP leadership, the Valley cops, local government units and stakeholders of Cagayan Valley region for the overwhelming support and cooperation they have extended him during his one-year stint as Cagayan Valley police director.

He urged the Valley cops and the community to sustain their good partnership to further the programs and projects of the police.
BGen. Ludan , wamly welcomed, is optimistic that his stewardship of the Cagayan Valley police will be successful, having the full force beside him.
