LA TRINIDAD COMMEMORATES 127TH DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF NATIONAL HERO

Last December 30, the LGU held a brief program to remember our National Hero, Dr. Jose Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda at the Municipal Grounds. Ptr. Samuel Pan-oy began with a prayer, followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by CAD PNCO Novella Tanas.

The “Pagpupugay sa Watawat” was presided by Mr. John Paul Buliyat from the La Trinidad Masonic Lodge No. 344. To close the program, messages of hope and peace were given by our Mayor, Hon. Romeo K. Salda and one of our councilors, Hon. Bartolome L. Baldas Jr. Lastly, the Honor Guard for the Wreath Laying was Bro. Nash L. Nanam, Faithful Navigator of Dist. 19 (PBM) Benguet Highland Assembly ACN 2597, San Jose Parish, La Trinidad, Benguet. The event was conducted in the presence of the Bureau of Fire Protection, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, La Trinidad Municipal Police Station, La Trinidad Masonic Lodge No. 344, and other local organizations.
