LU’s Ultimate pasaLUbong Center: La Union Agri-Tourism Center

In support to the Agri-Tourism vision of the province, the Provincial Government of La Union headed by Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III is strengthening efforts to help promote and showcase La Union’s native products, delicacies, tourist spots and tourism services through the La Union Agri-Tourism Center.
La Union Agri-Tourism Center is strategically located in the center of trade and business of the City of San Fernando, La Union.
It showcases and highlights One-Town-One- Product (OTOP) and craftsmanship of the 20 towns of the province.
It also supports micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to manufacture, offer and market distinctive products playing a crucial role in poverty alleviation to cope with the global economic crisis.
The center offers products such as colored soft-brooms, inabel, honey, sugarcane wine, vinegar, Labtang baskets, rice, printed La Union Tshirts, and other locally produced products from
different Local Government Units (LGUs) of the province.
Moreover, the La Union Agri-Tourism Center promotes La Union destinations and services, thus expanding the province’s trade and tourism opportunities targeting foreign and domestic travelers alike.
It also serves venue for market promotion activities.
The La Union Agri-Tourism Center has three sections namely the Local Economic Enterprise Investment Promotion Unit which serves as the information center for the tourists and travelers; the OTOP pasaLUbong shop where native delicacies and souvenir items can be purchased; and the Dapayan Center which serves as the center for culture and the arts in the province.
From last summer, tourists have started flocking to La Union not only to visit and experience its breathtaking beaches and landscapes and historical features but also to have a taste of its unique and delicious food products. The pasaLUbong Center in La Union is definitely worth the visit!
