Mobile Legends 5v5 Tournament and Cosplay Craze at SM City Baguio

To celebrate the last week of Cyber Month, SM City Baguio will be hosting the Mobile Legends 5v5 Tournament and Cosplay Craze on August 25, 2019 at the mall atrium. The Cosplay Craze is a competition where the contestants will wear costumes that resemble an existing character from anime, manga, comic books, TV series, movies, or video games.

They will then present their costumes through a catwalk and 1-minute performance for the judges. The contest check-in time is 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m., and the program will start at 11:00 a.m.

This is a free event; there will be no need for registration fees or tickets. To register, head to the reception in the SM admin office located at the lower basement parking from August 1-25. There will also be an on-site registration in the mall atrium, on the day of the event from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The winners will each receive a certificate and the following prizes: 1st Place – Php 5,000 worth of SM GC, 2nd Place – Php 3,000 worth of SM GC, 3rd Place — Php 2,000 worth of SM GC.

Right after the Cosplay Craze, SM City Baguio in partnership with SMART will conduct the Mobile Legends 5v5 Tournament. Live streaming of their game play is available and will show in LED screens.

Check-in time will be on 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and the tournament will start at 12:00 noon. Participants must form a team of 5 members to join the tournament. The team may have one reserved player. The teams will compete on a single round elimination only.

To register, go to the SMART Store located at Cyberzone, 3rd Level at SM City Baguio from August 1-25, 2019. The registration fee is P100 per Mobile Legend Player. Each player will then receive 1 Smart Prepaid Sim + GIGAGAMES99 load.

The announcement of winners and awarding of prizes will take place immediately after the contest. Decision of the judges is final in concurrence with DTI.

Winning teams will receive the following prizes: 1st Place – Php 20,000.00 (10,000 Cash + 10,000 worth of SM GC), 2nd Place – Php 5,000.00 cash, 3rd Place – Php 3,000.00 cash.

For the participants of Cosplay Craze and/or Mobile Legends 5v5 Tournament under the age of 18 years old (as of event date) they must have their parent or legal guardian sign a waiver/image release form. There should be no betting or wagering in any form. Should organizer found act, liable groups shall be automatically disqualified to compete.
