PANAGBENGA 2023 PREP

Deck for the celebration of the Panagbenga 2023 that will kick-off on February 1, 2023. A #KapihanSaBaguio press conference bares preparations for the City’s iconic flower festival this year which will be the first face-to-face staging since the pandemic. Among the panelists are Mayor Benjamin Magalong, BFFI Board of Trustee and Executive Chairman Anthony R. De Leon, City Police Director PCol Francisco Bulwayan, BFFFI Chief of Staff Evangeline B. Payno, HRAB Executive Director Mary Lou B. Galiste, and Joma Rivera of the City Tourism Office. Panagbenga is an annual flower festival celebrated every February in Baguio City. The term “Panagbenga” comes from a Kankanaey term meaning “season of blooming.” This festival reflects the history, traditions, and values of Baguio and the Cordilleras.
