“Second Quarter Balili River Clean Up Drive in Observance of La Trinidad 71st Foundation Day.”
Our deep gratitude to the following for embodying the spirit of volunteerism and love for environment: LTFS, BJMP, LTMPS, BENRO PLGU Benguet, NIA- CAR, DOST-CAR, LTWD, King’s College of the Phil., Barangays Ambiong, Bineng, Balili, Alpha Coy, 1401st Infantry Batallion, Farmers from Betag and Poblacion, Women’s Brigade, 2nd Benguet PMFC, SPES and StoBoSa Association.
Both Mayor Romeo Salda and Vice Mayor Roderick Awingan thanked the participants/stakeholders for faithfully taking up the cause of the environment and for helping realize our collective vision of a clean and clear Balili River.
A total of 152 sacks of garbage were collected along the stretch of the river, totaling 1,520 kgs. The 3rd Quarter Clean Up Drive is set on September of this year. This time, on the occasion of Balili River River Day. God bless Balili River! God bless La Trinidad!
