Students from the University of the Cordilleras College of Engineering and Architecture were the first to experience the Sustainability Features and Greening Effects Tour at SM City Baguio on October 6, 2023. One of the facilities visited was the rainwater treatment facility, located at the lowest level of the parking building. It serves as a holding tank that lessens the load of water passing through the drainages, aiding in flood prevention. With the filtration treatment of the rainwater, the surrounding community may benefit by using the excess filtered water for cleaning, irrigation and fire protection.
