TESDA to hold World Cafe of Opportunities on National TechVoc Day

BAGUIO CITY – The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is set to conduct a World Cafe of Opportunities (WCO) through Job Lingkaging and Networking Services (JoLiNS) to link Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) graduates with immediate employment opportunities on Sunday, August 25, 2019.

WCO is a one stop shop for TVET graduates where national government agencies, private companies, tech-voc institutions and financing institutions converge in strategic locations to offer possible employment, training, and financing opportunities, and facilitate higher job-skills matching.

It is also one of the highlights during the celebration of the 25th TESDA anniversary and National Tech- Voc Day.

It is a national event that will be simultaneously conducted on August 25, 2019. WCO is like a sector-based job fair aiming to connect government and private agencies to TVET graduates.

WCO through JoLiNS is one of the strategies to link the technical vocational education graduates to employment opportunities, wage-earning or self-employment.

TESDA-CAR is slated to conduct WCO at the Baguio City National High School and the activity will start at 8:00 o’clock in the morning and will run until 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon.
